Easter Bunny Visit

A couple of weeks ago, when Celeste was 10 days old we took a quick trip to the mall & visited the Easter Bunny. We were unsure how Calli would do since she was scared of Santa Claus at Christmas. She was so excited but then when we got to the bunny she seemed taken aback. We quickly put Celeste in the bunny's arms & Calli eventually climbed up there but held Roman's hand. They snapped some pictures & were able to crop out Roman's hand. We then noticed that Celeste had her hand over her face. We quickly re-adjusted her & the photographer snapped again. This is the final product with Calli leaning away but not crying at least. All in all it was a fun outing as family of 4.

April Fool's Baby!!!

Happy Birthday to our baby girl. Celeste Carolyn Flores was born on April 1, 2011 at 1:03pm. She weighed a whopping 9lbs 6oz & was 21" lg. We are so thankful & praise God for a full term, healthy baby. Everything went smoothly with the induction & delivery. We are so blessed to have 2 beautiful girls.

Birthday Party

Busy weekend. Calli's friend Kayla turned 4 so they had a tinkerbell party for her. It was at our church where Calli loves the playground. She had so much fun being around the bigger kids. They played a game like pin the tail on the donkey where they pinned a star on tinkerbell's wand. It was very cute to watch. They also had a relay race where they had to fill up a pot with water. Roman & I were really impressed as she waited her turn in line & then followed all the kids to complete her turn. Not that we doubt her but we never get to see her interact with big groups of kids. The team Calli was on won & she got jelly beans as her prize. She was so excited.

CyFest

Last Sat there was a small festival in Cypress so we went & walked around. They had vendors, food, bands & carnival rides. Calli is still a bit small to ride the rides (not that I think she would) & she didn't want to do the petting zoo either. Maybe she'll grow out of it soon. It was relaxing & fun hanging out with friends Karen, Alan & Amy.

I had given Karen's daughter Samantha a dress that was way too cute to pass up!! About a week later Roman's sister, Cindy mailed Calli 2 dresses & 1 of those was the same I just got Samantha. So we decided to coordinate the girls. So adorable!!
