Cell phone & Pigtails

Every morning as we are getting ready for work we put Calli on our bed to get her dressed. One morning she found my phone & was fascinated by it. Roman ended up pulling out an old phone for her to play with. She picked it up & without missing a beat put it up to her ear & started "talking". It was hilarious!! She is really paying attention to what goes on around her.

Calli's hair is finally long enough to do pigtails so I tried it out. Bad thing is she won't sit still very long & her hair is so curly & tangles easily. We think she is so adorable when her hair is pulled up!!

11 months

Time is going by too fast!! I can't believe how fast my little baby has grown up. Here is a video clip of Calli cruising. Notice how she stops & waves for the camera. What a showboat!!

Fighting Bedtime

We changed up Calli's bedtime routine up about 2 weeks ago so she is still getting used to it. She fights it & is still learning to comfort herself. Tonight she finally did it without any help from me & Roman. We peeked in to check on her & found her asleep between her legs. She fell asleep in a sitting position. Apparently there is too much going on in the world that is more exciting than sleep.

4th of July

Over the weekend we went to some friends house to celebrate Independence Day. While we were there our friends snapped some great pics. Calli's little friend is Ainsley. They were due around the same time until Calli suprised us 2 months early. As you can tell Calli wasted no time catching up!! These girls are are too precious. Calli also loves the water but we have to make sure we are careful not to allow too much water in her ears until her tubes fall out. So no swimming under the water just yet.
